Biography
Originally from Stratford on Avon, Laura first trained at Rose Bruford College, gaining a BA (Hons) in European Theatre Arts in 2015. After spending two years touring Spain as an actor for Forum Theatre and Education, Laura returned to England to focus on directing, graduating in 2020 from Bristol Old Vic Theatre School's MA Drama Directing.
Since graduating, she has directed several productions for Rose Bruford College as part of their British Contemporary Theatre season. She has also assisted on a wide range of productions, from opera, to new writing, to family theatre. She was assistant director for Ensemble OrQuesta's sell-out run of Handel's Alcina, as part of the Arcola Outside's Grimeborn Festival, which received four-star reviews in The Guardian, The Stage and Plays to See. Laura also directed Mozart's Don Giovanni for the company this year.
